This is the 2nd time we have used (the 1st time being in 2012). We had such a great meal that we had to have another meal cooked by Viva on this visit.

It did not disappoint and in fact we all agreed that it was probably even better. There was so much food and all of it was fantastic. The prawns were to die for.

If you are wanting a traditional cooked meal, with wonderful food, then definitely book Viva for a night.

Viva is so hospitable and a wonderful chef. She has so much knowledge. The Greek menus are wonderful. I've been to many cooking classes in my travels and this was one of my favourite. Make sure to go to one of her classes at her villa, you will not be disappointed!! I hope to go back again in the future.

The food was absolutely stunning, enjoyed everything. The moussaka and choc orange mousse my personal favourites. Would highly (highly!) recommend to anyone staying in Kefalonia. A special week.

Our dear friends treated us to a very special meal for our 50th. Wedding Anniversary , when we Visited Kefalonia on holiday. We enjoyed the most delicious meal cooked by Viva in the Villa . The evening was made all the more special by meeting this lovely and interesting lady.

Our family of 5 (ranging in age from 17 to 81), stopped in Argostoli (Cephanlonia) while on an Oceania cruise. Every trip we try and take a cooking class, so we have had experiences around the world; the experience with Our experience with Viva and George ranked among the highest. We made our way from the port to their home with a driver they had arranged for us in advance. We were warmly welcomed and over the next several hours had an inside look into their lifestyle--everything is homemade either by them or their friends... including the olive oil, vinegar, tomato paste, cheese, and most of the fruits and vegetables too. During our visit, we received inside tips and made moussaka, cod, salad, and tzatziki. And while we were cooking, we snacked on local olives, cheese, bread and wine. After cooking, conversation spanning a variety of topics, and exploring the gardens, we dined on the meal we had prepared, supplemented with Viva's specialty dessert--baklava cheesecake! Finally, Viva and George gave us a sneak peek of the delicious items that were being made for a vegetarian catered event for 17 that evening. We were amazed by Viva and George, and I'm conspiring for how I will make my way back to their home for more classes!

We traveled to Kefalonia as a group of 8 (4 couples) and rented a home for a week. While there we booked Viva's personal chef service for 2 nights. We had many great meals, but the nights we enjoyed Viva's cooking were the best meals of the trip! It was A LOT of food, but they made great leftovers. Viva and George were wonderful! We are excited to recommend them to friends and to go back and hire them again! Thanks Viva and George for adding to the wonderful experiences we had in Kefalonia!

The food was absolutely delicious and there was so much of it, that the leftovers formed the basis of supper last night. I really loved the stuffed vine leaves and my young son, the grilled squid. Everything prepared in our villa, table set beautifully and the kitchen left spotless afterwards. George entertained us all with his vivid descriptions of the various dishes and accompanying wines, and anecdotes about the couple’s life on the island. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Great value too.

Viva made us an amazing birthday dinner at our villa. She was lovely and very relaxed and helpful. The food was amazing. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful experience we had at Viva’s cooking class! Joined by our friends Matt and Nicol, we spent an unforgettable evening learning to prepare traditional Greek dishes under the expert guidance of Viva herself. On the menu: Kefalonian meat pie, a vibrant Greek salad, and delicious Yemisto (stuffed vegetables) — each dish bursting with authentic flavour and made with love. Viva is truly an amazing lady. Her warmth, humour, and storytelling brought the kitchen to life. As we cooked, she shared funny and heartfelt stories from her life, making the evening feel like a gathering of old friends rather than a class. After the cooking, we sat down to enjoy our meal together with Viva and her lovely husband George. Sharing food, laughter, and conversation around the table was the perfect way to end the evening. Highly recommended for anyone looking to dive into Greek cuisine and culture in the most delightful way!
